Hi Friends,
I haven’t written you in a while, and everything in me wants to apologize for that absence and neglect, but I won’t, because I know you weren’t sitting by your inbox refreshing constantly to see the latest update here. But because this letter is all about being transparent while I build a million dollar consultancy, I will share what has occupied my time and energy.
I’m putting together a Buyer Persona Summit in partnership with my client, Audiense. This is an amazing feat, that I’m not sure I fully comprehended when I said, “let’s do it!”
The Summit has become fireside chats, panels, webinars, and live buyer persona consulting from yours truly. It’s become emails, a new newsletter, social posts, and, and, and, well…you get the idea.
We’re finalizing details now and will publish the summit the week of July 26th.
All of this activity around buyer personas has me feeling like I’m on the clickity-clackity part of the roller coaster. The part where you know something breathtaking is moments away, the anticipation is building, but it’s also a little scary, and you’re not sure what to expect or when the climax moment is going to happen.
It’s a journey, and I’ve read enough from other entrepreneurs that if I stay the course I’ll likely see some success.
I’m holding on. I’m waiting in anticipation, but I’m also actively working towards where I see this business headed. I have my next phase goal, and I know that if I keep moving forward I’ll reach it.
Three years ago, my goals were to be on the SaaS Club podcast, published in Hubspot, and creating buyer personas and content strategies for B2B SaaS companies.
That’s where I am. I did those things.
I have to acknowledge that progress and achievement, because if three year ago Adrienne saw me now she’d be thrilled. And I know I’m just as capable, if not more so, to get myself to the next phase.
So here’s to staying the course and working toward the next phase.
I hope you’re doing the same.
Thanks for reading,
Adrienne
